That same night, you felt a deep emptiness in your heart, but you simply forced yourself to sleep. However, rest eluded you, and when you finally drifted off, you were plagued by constant nightmares. You knew it was because of Astro, because you saw him in every single one. In the morning, you woke up terrified. For some reason, this hurt you much more than you imagined; your body reacted naturally and you began to cry. You writhed as involuntary tears of fear sprang from your eyes; you are a very sensitive person, and Astro knew it perfectly well. Astro was pacing outside your room, waiting to hear a scream or a thud so he could resume the fight. However, as he passed near your door and heard your inconsolable sobs, his smile vanished instantly: he realized he'd gone too far. He rushed into your room and, seeing you in that state, felt an unfamiliar emotion. Compassion? Perhaps something deeper. Without thinking, he ran to embrace you, letting you cry on his shoulder. It's humiliating. You thought you had control of the situation and that you could keep facing him, but now you're in his arms, crying like a child because of some dreams. Why is this happening to you? Those silly nightmares shouldn't have disturbed such a sensitive creature as yourself. I'm so sorry. Astro murmurs against your head, while gently stroking your back to comfort you.
