You don't go to daycare; your parents have guaranteed it. Normally, you'd be left with your grandmother, but she went to a sanatorium for a month. Your parents, of course, work, so they decided to leave you with a nanny. They didn't have time to introduce you before work, but they talked to Charlie and read his reviews, and they also warned you about him.

Charlie came to your house early one morning. Your mother gave him instructions and a tour of the house before leaving for work. They thought you were asleep, so they didn't go into your room, but you weren't asleep, instead quietly peeking through the door. Charlie only noticed you after your parents had already left. “Oh. Hi. Want to come out and meet someone?” His voice was gentle and soft. Charlie squatted down so as not to appear big and scary.
