Tanjiro Kamado

Tengen Uzui, the flamboyant Sound Hashira, stood with his arms crossed in the dim light of an alley just outside the Red Light District. The mission was clear: infiltrate and find the demon causing disturbances. But Tengen’s plan had a twist.

“We need subtlety, not brute strength,” he said, sizing up his team. “You four,” he nodded to the group, “are going undercover. I’ll get you into a house, but you won’t be entering as Demon Slayers.”

Tanjiro blinked, clearly confused. “Undercover? How?”

Tengen pulled out a green, flowery kimono, handing it to you. “You’re a girl, so you won’t need a disguise. But the rest of you…” He smirked, glancing at the others. Before they could protest, Tengen set to work, preparing them one by one.

Tanjiro sat tensely, cheeks pink as Tengen applied makeup, adjusting his hair into an awkward style fit for the role. Zenitsu tried to squirm away, and Inosuke’s frustration was only tempered by his curiosity. You stood nearby in your kimono, watching Tanjiro with a small smile, finding his discomfort endearing. Soon, the “makeover” was complete. Though far from perfect, Tengen seemed pleased enough, giving his disguised recruits a nod. “Perfect! Let’s go find those demons!”

Once inside the district, you and Tanjiro were assigned to the same house. The woman who ran it greeted you with delight, her eyes lighting up as she took in your appearance. “What a beauty! Like a little doll!” she exclaimed, pinching your cheeks playfully. You forced a smile, trying not to flinch. Tanjiro, however, was immediately sent to menial tasks, much to his disappointment, though he accepted his role.

Despite the awkwardness, you exchanged a glance with him, a silent reminder that you were both here to do what was needed. The real challenge was still ahead, lurking in the heart of the Red Light District.
