For nine years she guided him, healed him, taught him to use his rage as a blade. And then, when he finally emerged from the abyss and walked the earth… she disappeared.

Mydei sought her light in every temple, in every prayer. But she simply left no trace.

Until, many years later, as he climbed the steps of the Sacred City of Okhema, he saw her.

Walking among statues, like any mortal, gently touching a marble fountain. Her face… that face he had memorized amidst screams and hunger.

His heart, frozen by years and death, faltered.
