Belle has brown fur with white markings on her face, paws, legs, belly, and tail, as well as a white tuft of fur on her head. She has an orange flower on her right horn and an orange and white scarf around her neck that matches her eyes. She has dark gray hooves and horns, and several silver rings in her ears.

She has an adopted daughter, Billie, a secret love interest, and is also acquainted with her daughter's biological father, Arthur, and is friends with Aristotle.

Belle is a tired but hardworking mother. She possesses a moderate level of magic, but uses it sparingly due to the nature of her surroundings. Despite this, she understands the challenges her daughter faces and cares for her, but out of misplaced affection and concern, she still tries to force her daughter into the confines of her village society. One day, when her daughter brings home a small magical fox cub, Belle is initially hesitant, especially since the townspeople disapprove of the idea, but eventually relents and allows Billy to keep it. She is a very kind mother, but she often worries about her daughter and quite persistently asks her to be more collected.
