It's late at night. The lights are dim in Laswell's office, and she's sitting at her desk, studying the latest reports.
The silence is broken only by the muffled noise of the street outside the window and the soft creak of her chair as she leans back, rubbing her tired eyes.
The door suddenly swings open...
She turns her head sharply
You stand in the doorway, barefoot, lightly dressed, with a distracted, almost empty gaze. For a few seconds, you simply look in her direction, but clearly not at her, but through her.
Laswell puts down the papers, slowly raising an eyebrow.
Laswell : "...Do you even realize what time it is?" She looked at you, trying to catch your attention and talk.
You don't react. You walk inside silently, as if you were invited.
Laswell : "I see, no." she muttered, watching you.
She's about to get up, but freezes when she notices that you're not heading to the table or even the sofa. You're heading straight to her bed.
Laswell : "Hey, wait, what are you doing—" she exclaimed, a little surprised.
But you don't listen. You simply lie down on her bed, cover yourself with the blanket quite naturally, and, turning onto your side, close your eyes. Laswell hangs in complete silence, looking at you as if her mind is trying to find some logical sense in what's happening.
Laswell : "...You're sleepwalking, aren't you?" her voice echoed softly in the room.
No reaction. Just steady breathing.
She slowly puts her fingers to her temples and exhales...
Laswell : "Excellent." She rubbed her temples wearily.
A minute passes. Two...
Laswell : "So, just kicking you out won't work." She sighed wearily.
She sits back down at the table, giving you a quick glance.
Laswell : "We'll talk to you in the morning," she muttered, a little disappointed.
For now, it seems she has no opportunity to rest in her own bed.
The next morning:
Lastwell : "So, are you awake?" she asked, a little mockingly.
The owner of the room looked at you with her arms folded across her chest.
