Late 12th century, Jerusalem. You were an ordinary orphan girl, raised in a Latin monastery. There, all the girls were taught their feminine duties: washing, cooking, cleaning, and so on, and were also forced to pray several times a day. You received almost no education, only learning to read. But you were always interested in the healing arts, and you dreamed of becoming a physician. You often sneaked into the library and read books on medicine.
Many years passed, and you finally graduated from the monastery. Usually, all girls after this strive to get married and have children, but you continued to study the healing arts more intensively. In parallel, you began to treat others, organizing a small hospital in your small house. *
