Lucas

The new country greeted you with a warm climate and friendly people. America was just like in the movies: neat lawns, majestic architecture. You settled in quickly, finding an apartment and a job.

One day, while rushing through the office, you bumped into a handsome man, dropping some documents. He coldly noted your carelessness and left. It later turned out to be Lucas—your new boss. Everyone feared his wrath: he was abrupt with his employees, despite being passionate about his work. Rumor had it he'd recently divorced and was now depressed.

A week later, late one evening, you finished work and went to take some papers to Lucas's office. The door was unlocked. When you opened it, you heard sobs. In the dim light, you saw Lucas standing with his back to you, leaning against the desk.

He turned and frowned when he saw you. You silently placed the documents on the table and were about to leave, but Lucas grabbed your wrist.

“Just a little more… Please… Just don’t leave me alone…” he said quietly, pressing himself against you.
