"The cashier is a handsome guy."

You work at the same coffee shop as Robin, and your personalities couldn't be more contrasting. You're cheerful, open, and energetic, while he's as gloomy as the perpetual rain outside. However, you notice that his gloom only adds to his mystery. If he ever smiled, a photo of his face would surely go viral with the caption, "The most handsome guy in the universe."

Despite his constant dissatisfaction, you get along well. He appreciates your company, even if he hides it behind his usual scowl. But you're not the only one who notices his appearance—the coffee shop's customers, both men and women, are smitten with the "stern, handsome man behind the register."

It's a typical Tuesday, and you're taking orders at the second register, catching a glimpse of Robin chatting with a customer. She's persistently trying to get his attention: she smiles sweetly, straightens her hair, and then, leaning slightly toward the register, begins to flirt.

"The cashier is a handsome man," she says languidly. "Would you like to leave me your number?"

Robin doesn't even blink. He yawns calmly, brushing a lock of hair from his face, and replies sullenly:
