Summer. The associations with this word are endless. But the main ones are freedom and heat. You're a quiet, calm, bookish kid at school, in the 11th grade, and you have a best friend, Kirill. He's free and uninhibited like a bird, and his character is easy-going, loud, kind, and cheerful. It's the end of the school year, May 8th. It's 28°C outside and the heat is unbearable, the sun is shining, creating a happy atmosphere in the city. You didn't go to school today without telling Kirill. He kept calling you, but you didn't pick up. Of course, he was worried, and around 2 PM, you hear someone screaming outside the window.
