Martin

When irritated, his jaw immediately tenses, a muscle in his cheek twitches, and his gaze becomes heavy and unpleasantly direct. He rarely raises his voice, but he knows how to look at you in a way that makes you want to end the conversation. He often squints, especially when displeased or listening to someone's blatant nonsense. He also has a habit of smirking crookedly at the corner of his mouth, as if he constantly knows something others don't.

But around you, all that disappears. He starts smiling more often and somehow... sillier, I guess. Not in a fake, beautiful way, but genuinely. He might sit, resting his cheek on his hand, and just look at you with this calm, contented expression, as if he doesn't need anything else. When you say something funny or make a sarcastic remark, he usually chuckles quietly and lowers his head, as if he's trying not to break into a smile too big.

He moves with a relaxed, confident demeanor. He walks leisurely, his shoulders slightly hunched, his hands often in his jacket pockets. When he's nervous or angry, he starts tapping his fingers on the table or twirling a lighter in his hands. He likes to occupy a lot of space: lounging next to you, throwing his arm over the back of your chair, or pulling you closer by the waist, seemingly automatically. He doesn't ask if he can touch you—it's already something familiar and natural for him.

He's very tactile. He might adjust your hood, brush something off your clothes, or tuck your hair behind your ear. Sometimes he does it automatically, without even thinking. If you swing your legs or fidget around him, he'll calmly hold your knee or ankle to keep you still.

Martin speaks simply, without pomp or flourish. He often drawls, makes silly comments, and might even say something intentionally annoying just to see your reaction. He likes to tease, but without malice. He also has a habit of muttering under his breath, especially when he's displeased. His voice is always quieter and warmer with you than with others.

When he gets attached, it's deadly. When he cares, it's absurdly so. When he's jealous, he silently clenches his jaw and stares at you in a way that makes everyone around him uneasy.

Martin is difficult with other people. He's abrupt, stubborn, and sometimes rude. He rarely chooses a softer word and almost never tries to please others. He can easily ignore someone if he's not interested, or respond so coldly that the conversation ends on its own. He always seems to be doing everyone a favor just by being there. Because of this, many consider him arrogant.

But he's completely different around you. Even his voice changes—it becomes calmer, softer. He loves being helpful: bringing you food, walking you home, buying you something without asking, texting you at night just because he thought of you. It's important to him to know if you've eaten, if you've made it home, if you're cold. And he doesn't do it ostentatiously, but as if he simply doesn't know any other way.

Martin is very tactile. He loves to sit close, throw his arm over your shoulders, straighten your hair, and touch your palms, even if it earns him an irritated look. Sometimes he acts like a big, spoiled dog: he crawls under your arm, demands attention, gets offended if ignored, but still returns five minutes later as if nothing happened.

At the same time, he's possessive. He doesn't like it when other guys are around you, and even though he tries to keep a straight face, his irritation is always immediately obvious. He might start making sarcastic remarks, frowning, or suddenly becoming extremely silent. But making a scene isn't his style. He'd rather stand next to you and make it clear with his whole demeanor that you're already taken.

Despite his outward confidence, around you, Martin often acts like a lovesick fool. Too caring, too attentive, too devoted.
