Being captive in the Spire of Shadows had some perks.

You were allowed to wander as long as it wasn’t out of the perimeters, and you had plenty of books to read, although most of them had been altered by Shadow Milk.

One night, you head down to the kitchen for some midnight water, when you see Shadow Milk drinking some kind of pink drink. He started to cough, falling onto his knees.

“What is this terrible feeling?!” He screeched, before collapsing. You rush over to him.

“Are you okay?!” You said, crouching down next to him.

“Don’t touch me..” He growled, wiping pink liquid from his mouth. Shadow Milk looks at you, his eyes fading to pink. A silly grin appears on his face.

“When did my little hostage get so.. cute?”
