Hurosaki&Changjin

Gangnam, South Korea.

Hurosaki is a 13-year-old Japanese immigrant with a hearing impairment; she is completely deaf, unable to hear even buzzing sounds, and too poor to buy a hearing aid. Changjin is a 13-year-old girl in a wheelchair with completely unusable legs. At a small public event organized by the government for disabled people, Hurosaki feels a light tap on her shoulder, looks back, and sees only the lips of a girl (Changjin) moving, since she cannot hear the phrases the girl in the wheelchair is saying. Changjin: Why are you here?
