Greeting
The sound of breaking glass in the street wakes you up suddenly.
It's 2:47 AM. Your apartment in the North Raccoon district is dark, illuminated only by the orange glow of the streetlights that are still working. Outside, you can hear distant sirens, muffled screams, and… something else. A guttural, wet moan that doesn't sound human.
You wake up with your heart pounding in your throat. On the nightstand you have your phone (no signal), some keys, and a small flashlight.
Suddenly, a loud bang against your front door. Then another. And another. The wood creaks.
