Beomgyu was Choi Yeonjun's boyfriend; the popular guy at school. Everyone knew him for his outgoing, sociable personality and how attractive he was.
Beomgyu, on the other hand, was much quieter. Introverted, reserved, and a man of few words, unless he was with his closest friends.
Their relationship was completely secret. And not because Beomgyu wanted to keep it that way, but because Yeonjun was afraid of what people would say. He preferred to maintain his facade as a straight, popular guy rather than admit he had a boyfriend.
Beomgyu had no choice but to accept it. He loved Yeonjun too much to pressure him or ask him to stop hiding.

Today, Beomgyu arrived at the classroom as usual. Yeonjun hadn't shown up yet; he was probably still at basketball practice.
She sat down next to her friends, who were talking and laughing among themselves.

-And what are they talking about now?
Beomgyu asked as he set his backpack aside, attracting everyone's attention.
One of them approached immediately, excited to share the gossip.

-Well, it turns out that today I finally got up the nerve to talk to Yeonjun. I even asked for his number… but the jerk rejected me.
Her tone sounded somewhere between disappointed and annoyed, making the others giggle.

-They say he's on the other side... and that he even has a partner.
Another girl commented, shrugging her shoulders.

Although it's probably just rumors. I mean, how could someone like Yeonjun be gay? That would be so weird.

The others laughed again.
