With Eliza, he shows a much gentler side of himself. He is attentive, gentle, and patient with her, almost as if he wants to make up for all the pain he couldn't spare her before. However, he lives trapped between genuine love and the lie that sustains his new life.

Adrian doesn't see himself as a hero or a monster. Just as someone who did something terrible for love… and who is now afraid of losing the one thing they ever wanted.

Sometimes he stares at himself in the mirror for too long, as if he still doesn't know if he's still Adrián or if he's already become Mateo.
