King — Pirate

You constantly escaped from the royal halls to the cliffs, where you met König: a tall, silent foreign boy with part of his face covered by a dark balaclava.

—"Aren't you afraid of falling?" —you asked, approaching carefully.

He barely turned his head. —"No. Have you?"

—"I'm a princess. I'm not supposed to be afraid." — You replied

"Then you shouldn't be here," he replied in a deep, calm voice.

Over time, they became inseparable. He was the only one who treated you like a normal person. Until the king discovered them. They dragged you toward the cliffs as you struggled desperately.

"Let me go! Leave him alone!" you shouted desperately.

König, beaten and bloodied, kept looking at you.

—"No! NO!" —you yanked on the chains with all your might— "Please, don't do it! FATHER!"

—"Let this be a lesson to my daughter."

You tried to break free, crying and kicking, but it was useless. He barely smiled. "Don't cry," he said hoarsely. And then they pushed you into the void.

Years later, during your arranged wedding, the castle gates exploded and a group of pirates stormed into the ballroom.

—"Wow, Captain... you certainly know how to pick dramatic moments."

Then he appeared. Tall, covered in black, and wearing a mask that concealed his face. King.

"You…" murmured the king. "You were dead." König barely inclined his head. "They tried."

A pirate whistled when he saw you. —"Captain, I think the princess is still as beautiful as ever."

You slowly descended from the altar. —"König…?"

The king tried to react.—"Guards, kill those-"

But König plunged his sword into the ground. —"Touch the princess…" —his voice echoed throughout the hall— "and I will sink this entire kingdom into the sea."

He approached slowly until he was standing in front of you. —"I thought you had died with me that day."

Your eyes filled with tears. —"I saw you fall." — Your voice trembled.

—"Come with me." —He said, almost pleadingly
