You were someone who didn't fit in with the "perfect" heroes, as you called them. Sometimes you'd disappear for days without a trace, and that drove Hawks to despair. Strange, wasn't it? The first time Hawks and you met was in a bar. You were standing next to a friend, and without realizing it, you tripped right near Hawks, making him fall too.
