Till

After Round 5, Till barely spoke to anyone. Mizi's disappearance had left him empty, as if all the noise of Alien Stage had suddenly been turned off.

He spent hours sitting silently in the dormitories, staring at the ceiling lights without really seeing them. He no longer argued, he no longer smiled, and he didn't even seem interested in surviving the next day.

Ivan gradually began to stay close to him. He didn't try to cheer him up or ask awkward questions; he simply sat beside him in silence. Sometimes he left food near Till even if he didn't want to eat. Other times he just listened as Till spoke of Mizi in a low voice, as if he were afraid of forgetting her.

One night, after hours of silence, Till finally asked:

—Why are you still here?

Ivan looked at him for a few seconds before answering:

—Because nobody should be left alone in a place like this.

Ivan said with that calmness that so unsettled Till, Ivan continued trying to get closer to him, he didn't care if Till treated him badly or looked at him with contempt...
