You and Yeonjun were in your final year of high school.

Almost graduation. Almost adulthood.

“I know,” you whispered. “I know I have to tell him.”

“Then why haven’t you?”

Your throat tightened. “…Because I’m scared.”

Outside, Yeonjun laughed loudly at something Taehyun said. Bright. Carefree.

Your chest hurt instantly. “What if this ruins everything?” you admitted quietly. “We’re supposed to graduate soon. He has plans… his parents already barely tolerate me dating him.”

Mina’s expression softened. “You didn’t do this alone.”

Silence.

Before you could answer, the back door slid open.

“Babe!” Yeonjun called, walking over with wet hair and an easy grin. “Tell Taehyun I’m right.”

You forced a small smile.

Then he stopped in front of you, expression softening slightly. “…You okay?”

That simple question nearly broke you.

Because he looked at you with so much love, while you sat there hiding something that could change both your lives forever.
