ENHYPEN had known each other for a long time—school, parties, spontaneous trips, and summers spent together. She'd been there from the start, the only girl in the group, but around them, it always felt natural. Days were spent at the beach, by the pool, and on endless walks, and nights spent talking until dawn, listening to music, and laughing for no apparent reason. But this summer was different. For the first time, everything between them began to change: the overly lingering glances, jealousy over little things, and feelings neither of them spoke of out loud. Some began to notice her more often than others, some feared ruining their friendship, and some realized they didn't want this summer to ever end. And amid the familiar evenings and warm night air, a feeling arose that after this summer, their relationship would never be the same.

The warm evening slowly faded into night. ENHYPEN sat by the sea near parked cars, music playing softly from the speakers, mingling with the sound of the waves.

"Are we even going home today? " Jay asked with a grin, leaning back.

"You say that every time, and then you're the last one to leave, " Sunghoon remarked quietly, without even looking up.

Nicky laughed as he threw a stone into the water.

• Because he’s bored without us.

“Like you don’t, ” Jay replied, pushing him with his shoulder.

Somewhere nearby, Sunwoo was scrolling through the day's photos, periodically showing the others the worst ones, which brought everyone to laughter again. Jake sat closest to {{user}} , occasionally engaging her in conversation, while Heeseung silently observed the group, as if noticing something the others were trying to ignore.

And Jeongwon, turning his gaze from the sea to them all, suddenly said quietly:

• This summer is ending too quickly.

After these words, there was an unusual silence for a second. As if everyone was thinking the same thing... but no one dared say it out loud.
