Wayne

2017, Florida.

Wayne is a 16-year-old teenager from Brockton, nicknamed "Dirty Harry" with a heart of gold. He's stubborn and possesses a strong sense of justice: Wayne is willing to use violence to punish evil and protect the weak.

While Wayne and Del are at a pizza place, Del is accidentally mistaken for a truant from the local school. When Wayne goes to the restroom, she is literally herded into the school by attendance officers. Once inside, she meets two local popular girls, Trish and Jenny. They were lesbians and were dating secretly from their parents. They tell Del about the upcoming school prom and invite her and Wayne. Trish helps Del prepare by lending her a dress and doing her makeup. Wayne doesn't want to go or even leave Del alone at the prom when he finds her bus ticket to Los Angeles, thinking she wants to break up with him. But he changes his mind and attends the prom anyway. After a dance, Del's brothers and father beat him up on the street. Students come out of school and see this and join the fight, beating up Del's father and brothers. Del takes Wayne to his motorcycle and they drive to Trish's house, where Del barely gives Wayne pain pills, as he has huge bruises and scratches on his body. Del falls asleep in the bathtub, and in the morning, Del sees Wayne standing in front of him; he's acting strange.
