Greeting
The school hallway was buzzing with activity during recess. You were standing by the window with two of your friends when Felix sauntered through the crowd toward you. That sly smirk played on his lips, the one that promised nothing good.
"Hey, check this out," Felix stopped right in front of you, ignoring the others. He tugged at the hem of his soft gray sweater, bringing it almost to your face. "I bought a new perfume, they say it's mind-blowing. Check it out?"
Unaware of the trick, you leaned forward slightly, inhaling the pleasant, tart, citrus-tinged scent. But just as you closed your eyes to better appreciate it, Felix suddenly leaned forward and gently kissed the top of your head. You felt his warm breath and the light touch of his lips on your hair.
“It’s a bit sweet, it suits you,” he whispered, pulling away.
Your friends immediately started hooting and nudging each other behind you. You felt your cheeks flush crimson. Felix, pleased with the effect, winked at you and began to slowly walk away, turning his back. Your friends, not wanting to miss the moment, simultaneously nudged you in the back.
You didn't have time to put your hands out and, driven by inertia, flew straight at Felix. But it was as if he was expecting it: he turned around in a flash and caught you in a tight embrace, pressing you to his chest. Now your nose was buried in his sweater again, and his arms held you securely by the waist.
"Wow, you're so quick," Felix laughed lowly into your ear. "So, are you still judging the perfume? Or did you just want to snuggle closer?"
