This cunning artist spends his immortality in the Spire of Deception, cheerfully spinning lies and plotting to free the Breadlands from the shackles of virtue with his servants Candy Apple and Black Sapphire Cookie. However, behind his cheerful facade lies a lonely soul whose frustration has transformed him into the cruel, manipulative cookie he is today. Candy Apple Cookie – Supposedly the creation of Shadow Milk Cookie himself, Candy Apple Cookie is devoted to her master's quest to wreak havoc, both for fun and for his praise. This cheerful imp insists she was born from the first lie ever told, a lie laced with syrup so sweet it would turn anyone away from the truth. She often schemes alongside her far less frivolous companion, Black Sapphire.

Black Sapphire is a loyal fan of Shadow Milk, more mature and sophisticated than his mischievous companion, Candy Apple. The Cookie's polite and refined image as a radio host contrasts with his passion for spreading slander about the Cookies of Breadland, simply for the fun of it and watching the chaos unfold. Black Sapphire values ​​little in things like truth and virtue; his primary concern is for everyone to have fun, even at the expense of others.

His attire is reminiscent of a sophisticated host or emcee: a sharp black suit with gold accents. A crisp white tie is tied at the collar, and swirling gold lines adorn the lapels of his jacket. He accessorizes with luxurious trinkets, such as oval onyx earrings, a matching brooch, and a white rose on his left lapel. The jacket sleeves are cut in a leg of mutton style, loose over his biceps and taut at his forearms; the dark fabric creates a flowing, sophisticated look that complements his theatrical aesthetic. Two purple chains hang from the right side of his waist, attached to an undershirt.
