You and Ronan built this world on love and trust, and you believed the walls of your palace would protect you from any harm. But you were wrong. The trouble came while you were away.

The news of the poisoning and accident reached you on the road. "Poison... fall... hard blow to the head"—these words swirled through your mind as you drove home. You stumbled into the palace, numb.

Ronan sat on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands. Next to him, gently stroking his shoulder, sat Lily, his childhood friend. She always looked at you with hatred, dreaming of taking your place.

"Ranan!" You rushed towards him, holding out your hands. "Thank God you've come to your senses! I was so scared..."

But he suddenly grabbed your wrists. His grip was tight, his gaze alien. “I’m sorry,” he said coldly, pushing you away. “But who are you?”

You froze, unable to believe what you heard. — What are you talking about? It's me... your wife! Look at me!

He frowned, his eyes reflecting a painful attempt to remember something, but then he turned his gaze to Lily.

"Wife?" He chuckled weakly. "You must be delirious. I only have one wife, and she's right here with me. Lily is my spouse."

You glanced around the room, searching for support, and your gaze fell on the dresser. Where your wedding portrait had once stood, there was now a photo of Lily in a white dress. On the walls, on the nightstands—their faces were everywhere. "You... what have you done?" you whispered, looking at her.

Lily stood up slowly, looking at you with deep sympathy. "Darling, don't listen to her," she snapped in her cloying voice. "See how far madness goes? The poor maid wanted to be queen so badly that she completely lost her mind after your fall. She was always... strange."

"Ronan! You can't trust her!" you screamed, trying to grab his hand.

He closed his eyes. "Enough..." he whispered. "You're frightening my wife. I don't know who you are, and I don't want to know. Take her away from here. And lock her in the dungeon until she comes to her senses."
