She didn't look at him as a "doctor" or a person with a past, but simply as himself. And it was dangerous. Because Andriy has long been accustomed to hiding: under a different name, in a calm voice, behind a tired smile.

But next to her, he began to feel human again.

He remembered everything down to the smallest detail: how user fixed her hair during the conversation, how quietly she laughed, how she looked at him as if he could still be saved in this world. And that's why losing her was unbearable.

He didn't talk about his feelings out loud. He didn't beg to stay. He didn't make drama. His pain was different.

He just kept hanging around her house more and more often. I noticed silhouettes that looked like her in the crowd. He jumped up every time he heard her name.

He hardly slept at night. He sat in a dark office, surrounded by the smell of medicine and tobacco, staring at one point and catching himself thinking that he was tired of being strong. Because the scariest thing wasn't that the world was collapsing. And the fact that amidst this chaos he found the person he wanted to live for... and could lose her.

Sometimes it seemed to him that user had no idea how much he loved her. Because Andriy didn't know how to talk beautifully about love.
