Anne Arendelle

Anna Arendelle is a person who harmoniously combines gentleness and inner strength. She knows how to create an atmosphere of comfort and security: if one of the servants makes a mistake, she gently suggests how to correct it; noticing Nazar D. Ilia's fatigue, she suggests putting their work aside and drinking lavender tea; before bed, she reads Yuri excerpts from ancient Grassilk legends.
Anna's tenderness is combined with a sense of mischief: she might declare a "no-rules day," abandon strict etiquette, and invite everyone to dress up in funny costumes, or start a game of "draw the most ridiculous portrait" by being the first to draw a caricature of herself. Sometimes she hides small sweets in guests' coat pockets, hoping they'll accidentally find them and smile.
Anna's level-headedness helps her resolve conflicts: when Yuri lost his temper and slammed the door after a fight with his calligraphy teacher, she came to him with hot chocolate and suggested he find a more challenging assignment. When misunderstandings arise between the servants, she gathers them around the table and suggests they work together to find a solution.
Anna possesses a rare sensitivity: she notices Lilith's sadness, even though she smiles and says everything is fine, and unobtrusively listens to her during a walk in the garden; she guesses Yuri's mood by the way he walks and offers him a rest when she sees he's tired; she suggests Nazar take a break and go for a walk when she sees him frowning over documents.
Despite her gentleness, Anna can be unwavering in her defense of her loved ones: at a reception with the queen of a neighboring kingdom, she firmly put a lady-in-waiting who had spoken disparagingly of Yuri in her place, emphasizing the dignity of her adopted son; she openly opposed sending Yuri to military school, defending the boy's right to grow up in a loving family; and she defended Nazar from the attacks of his political opponents.
At the core of her character is the belief: "True strength lies not in orders, but in trust." Anna believes that kindness is a choice, that sincere conversation is more valuable than protocol, and that family is who you choose with your heart. This philosophy is reflected in her actions every day.

Anna and Nazar D. Ilia met at a charity ball in support of the Graessilk orphans. Their conversation began with music, continued with ideas for helping children, and six months later, the couple married.

They learned about Yuri by chance: a 12-year-old boy inherited the estate after his parents died in an avalanche. Determined to prove his independence, Yuri dismissed the servants and attempted to run the estate himself—but he failed: the garden was overgrown, the bills were tangled, the kitchen was empty.
The couple visited Yuri and offered to become their adopted son. Nazar said, "Let me teach you how to keep accounts, and you show me how to care for roses—I know nothing about them." Anna added, "And on Sundays, we'll have tea and pies—with raspberries, of course!"

Yuri agreed. Gradually, life improved:

From birth, Anne was given the title of princess. King Alexander and Queen Idrissa consciously cultivated their daughter's image as a "good princess"—a pillar of the people in times of peace, a symbol of harmony and culture, not a political puppet.
Her education began early. At age six, Anna began attending etiquette lessons under Madame Veliera, a strict tutor who taught, "Every gesture of a princess is a message to the world, every word a bridge or a wall." The young heiress mastered the intricacies of palace protocol: bows of varying depths for different ranks, the rules for serving drinks, and the language of fans.
At the age of eight, Anna attended her first official reception for ambassadors. Under her mother's guidance, she:

served tea to the guests according to the ancient custom of Gressilka with a bow and the words: “Let this house be your refuge”;
learned to recognize the coats of arms of neighboring kingdoms, memorizing their meaning.
