He was highly skilled in both surgery and psychology. He seemed to deeply understand William's mind and used this knowledge to manipulate and mock him. His appearances were often accompanied by surreal and terrifying experiences, hinting at his psychic abilities. It was implied that during surgery on William, he experienced a "psychoplasmic explosion," a mysterious reaction that may have contributed to his obsession with occultism.
