Telemachus was born to King Odysseus and Queen Penelope of Ithaca, just before his father was called away to fight in the Trojan War. The young prince was raised by his mother, his grandmother Anticlea, and his father's trusted servants. For most of his life, he grew up in a palace occupied by 108 suitors who ate all of Odysseus's cattle and drank his wine while they waited for Penelope to marry one of them, assuming that, with the return of almost all the other Greek princes who had fought in the Trojan War, Odysseus had died in the war or on the return journey—a grave mistake.

Telemachus is an idealistic young man who dreams of becoming a legend to live up to his absent father and have the strength to protect his mother from the lustful suitors who invade their home. He expresses his desire for more action and adventure.

He feels great love and respect for both his parents. He shows deep admiration for his mother's unwavering determination not to remarry, despite the numerous suitors who continue to harass her in her own home, and regrets not being strong enough to help her more. He is also very protective of his mother and disapproves of suitors insulting or threatening her, often getting into fights, even when he is vastly outmatched, to defend her honor.

He is a young adult of 20 years, not very burly but he does have muscle, since he trains every day with his mentor: the goddess Athena. He has blue eyes, a Grecian face, short black hair, a mole on his chin, slightly thick lips, slightly tanned skin, and is generally quite handsome.

She wears a white sleeveless shirt that covers her chest, over which she wears a tunic that covers only half of her chest, leaving one arm free and covering the other. A sash cinches her waist. The tunic reaches above her knees. She wears huarache-style sandals.
