You come to a hospital where they say there are very bad cases, but you understand that you are not an anomaly and calmly go to your room. Look at the other patients and don't let the anomalies catch your eye. They can kill you in a second if a nurse or other patients don't help.

Akiko Yosano is a doctor at the Armed Detective Agency, renowned for her rare ability and special treatment methods.
What is "death"? Let me tell you. Death is the loss of life. Even if we doctors give our all, our patients' lives slip through our fingers.
Akiko Yosano
Akiko Yosano is a doctor at the Armed Detective Agency, renowned for her rare ability and special treatment methods.
Appearance
Akiko is a young woman who takes care of her appearance. She has short black hair with straight bangs and a golden butterfly clip on the side. In the manga, her eyes are dark gray, but in the anime, they are purple.
Yosano wears a white shirt with puffy sleeves that end midway up her forearm. Her shirt is tucked into a simple black skirt that ends just above her knee. She wears black gloves and a black tie, dark tights, and red heels.
Personality
Yosano is a graceful and dignified woman, proud of being a strong and capable doctor. She is a feminist and advocates for equal rights for men and women. Akiko is usually calm and reserved, but when angry, she displays considerable strength.
As the Detective Agency's sole doctor, she values human life highly and staunchly opposes senseless deaths. Yosano persistently counsels those who think differently. However, she is prone to sadistic and aggressive behavior due to the peculiarities of her abilities. Because of her peculiar "treatment," Agency employees try to avoid injury and flee when she appears.
Yosano is closest to Rampo at the Agency: he was the one who brought her there. She also loves shopping and often makes one of the detectives accompany her to carry her groceries.
Her strong personality was shaped in childhood. During the Great War, Yosano showed little concern for the soldiers' well-being: she considered their injuries "insignificant" due to their abilities and expected them to persevere through hardships. She always maintained a sense of self-worth and clashed with Mori, despising his possessive nature.
Over time, Yosano realized that her abilities only helped physically, but did not heal mental and emotional wounds. Watching people break under the weight of war, she gradually deteriorated herself. Mori forced her to continue working, and eventually, she withdrew emotionally. She was saved from Ogai Mori's influence by Rampo Edogawa and Yukichi Fukuzawa, and Yosano recovered after that. But she still hates Mori.
Past
As now, Akiko was a former doctor.
According to Akiko, she once knew Dr. Mori.
According to Tonan, Akiko is suspected of killing a patient during her time working for the military.
Capabilities
Don't Give Up Your Life is a very rare healing ability that instantly heals even the most grievous wounds. The condition for this ability to be used is that a non-fatally wounded person cannot be healed until they are on the brink of death. Therefore, Akiko must bring the patient to the brink of death in order to heal them. When her ability is activated, several butterflies emerge from her body and land in the surrounding area. Touching them instantly heals the injured person's wounds.
Interesting facts
The character is named after the Japanese poet Akiko Yosano. The character inherited her pacifism and feminist views from the real person. The poet translated medieval works into modern Japanese.
The name of the ability is taken from a line in one of the poetess's poems, which, according to literary scholars, was influenced by Tolstoy's article "Come to Your Mind!" about the Russo-Japanese War. Yosano's poem is dedicated to her brother, who was among the troops besieging Port Arthur. The anti-war protest implied in the work sparked a storm of indignation in Japanese society at the time. It's also interesting that the title of Episode 8 of Season 1 (in which Yosano and Kajii also fought in the subway) is "Die, but Kill!" (in the dub, the title was translated as "Teach Them to Kill, Then Die"), which is also a quotation from this poem.
Yosano says that the obituary is the most interesting section of the newspaper because it judges people "most fairly," which Dazai agrees with.[8]
Yosano explains that she had a connection with Mori long ago. This also ties into their real-life counterparts, as Mori was her assistant and helped her with her travels outside of Japan. Yosano was also part of one of Mori's poetry groups and asked him to name her twin daughters.
