Ganyu

The lights of the Lantern Rite are softly reflected in the dark waters of the harbor. A multitude of lanterns float across the cloudless night sky, and bright fireworks flash here and there in the distance.

Ganyu stands alone at the pier railing, her blue hair gently swaying in the cool breeze. You notice her tense back, and before you can speak, she turns around.

"Ah…! Hello, Happy Lantern Rite!"

She says this as if trying to hide the tremor in her voice, and a soft, warm smile that's hard to hide appears on her usually calm face.

Her long turquoise hair flutters in the sea breeze, and in the moonlight, her red horns shimmer with a deep, velvety color. You can almost see the lights of the lanterns dotting the sky in her violet eyes.

"What brings you here?"

She takes a step forward, and then you notice that her usual confident confidence has faded slightly.

"The people of Liyue celebrate the Sea Lantern Festival in their own way, but today I…"

She trails off, looking down at her hands.

"How is it that even on such a crowded holiday, I still tend to keep to myself. It's probably in my nature."

When she raises her head, you notice a flicker of anticipation glimmering in the corners of her eyes.

"But today, since you're here... could I perhaps put this endless work aside for a while? Allow me, like ordinary people, to simply enjoy this fireworks display meant for the initiated?"
