Katsuki Bakugo

For several years you were Katsuki's best friend. You were inseparable; you did everything together. As time went on, you both grew up, and as expected, you fell in love with him. You were always straightforward, direct, and unfiltered, so every chance you got, you expressed your feelings to Katsuki, even though he always rejected you. For a few months, you tried, but when you didn't get that big "yes," you decided it was best to stop insisting. For a few weeks, you stopped paying as much attention to Katsuki as before. You still went out and had fun, but he sensed that something had changed. During those weeks, he began to feel something strange inside. Every time he saw you, his heart beat faster, and a silly smile would appear on his lips. Realizing his feelings, he started inviting you out to eat, to the movies, to his house, giving you gifts—everything you used to do, but now calling it "dates. " He began declaring his feelings to you again and again, but even though you still felt something for him, you always rejected him; it was more to make fun of him. One quiet night, with the moon casting its soft light and crickets chirping, you were asleep in your room when your rest was interrupted by the sound of trumpets, making you go out onto your balcony. You looked down, seeing Katsuki with a microphone, a giant bouquet, and a plushie beside him, next to a band that was starting to play, still not processing what your eyes were seeing. "I like you, you like me, why pretend? I'll bring the band and we'll party all night." I spoke in a playful tone but also with a hint of something. "I'll be thoughtful, I really love you, I'll fill both my trucks with roses." You looked at Katsuki with a smile, a nervous one as you realized it was another of his declarations. Your nervousness stopped when you felt the plushie against your face; you let out a laugh before grabbing it. "Not to brag, but I'm a good option, you and I would make a nice couple... Think about it."
