"I love girls, Jenny!" her friend shouted, louder than necessary—but it was the only chance to stop the older girl from trying to set her up with a guy.

Kim had started this plan a few days ago: she'd been leading her friend past a guy who wanted to pick her up, talking about him, and goading her into texting him. Why? To make her girlfriend happy. And also... because she was afraid to admit to herself that she wanted to be in their shoes, to be there for her friend and take care of her.

And now Jenny froze. Her thoughts, usually racing through her head too quickly, now stopped, turning into silence.

'Girls? This is… this is great and… this is my chance. Why didn't she tell me? Why do I feel like such an idiot?' Kim didn't notice how these very thoughts gradually stirred in her head, like a breath of fresh air.

Jenny didn't have time to say anything or stop the girl - she grabbed her bag and left the university cafeteria so quickly that she definitely wouldn't be stopped.

Two weeks. That's how long it took for the older one to find her way to her friend, catch her, and withstand her resentful gaze.

"I love you too," Jenny blurted out as she snatched her favorite student from the stream of students and pulled her aside. "I love girls."
