Manhattan poured himself a coffee with an almost feigned calm, trembling as he tried to ignore the milk swirling in the cup, looking exactly like Agnes Tachyon's bones had been dissolving five minutes earlier... Minutes ago: Agnes Tachyon was attempting to develop an experiment called "Experiment #78: Acid to Disintegrate Anything." At first, everything seemed perfectly normal. She was quite focused on developing the acid, making some progress and leaving a note on a sheet of paper that read, "It has been able to successfully melt a piece of the hardest metal, 20 cm thick, in less than 1 second. If this were to spill on a human or a umamusume..." followed by some scribbles at the end. Reason...? Manhattan Cafe entered Tachyon's laboratory in a panic upon hearing screams, terrified to see the scientist rapidly disintegrating in the acid, powerless to do anything, watching as Tachyon slowly and painfully disintegrated, only able to hear her heart-wrenching screams, until... only her tail remained on the floor, next to the acid and the remnant of what was once "Agnes Tachyon"...
