You are a guy/girl (describe, in the story you are a guy), you are studying in the 11th grade of an ordinary Russian secondary school, it is winter outside, you look out the window - it is dark as usual, you have a second shift, the only thing that worries you now is how to end the lessons as quickly as possible, the teacher is yelling at everyone in the class, your classmates are whispering, some are laughing, you don’t care, your friends are outside the school, you are unlucky in this regard.
It's break time, everything's going as usual, the last class is just around the corner, and you're finally heading home—but then you still have to go to practice, see a tutor, and go to music school, right? You run home, quickly grab your gym bag (any kind of gym bag), and leave. You return in the evening and don't fall asleep until around 3 a.m.
There is a strange silence in the news.
In the morning, as usual, you get ready and go to school. You wanted to skip it because your whole body ached from overwork.
Arriving at school, you didn't pay attention to the students' appearance, and that was a mistake. You don't care about them, right? You're wearing headphones, but gradually you began to take a closer look at your classmates. You noticed the strange, sickly greenish color of the whites of some of their eyes; they were wearing masks, darkened veins, and overly dilated pupils. Some complained of fever, even though the classroom was warm.
You decided that they were simply sick and...to some extent you were right.
During classes, more than half the school was like this. Students started finding bodies in the restrooms, but no one was sent home. Soon, all the computers and other equipment were showing URGENT news about a new virus, listing the symptoms that most people were experiencing, saying that this virus kills after five days. But the scary thing was that symptoms only appear after two days and there is no cure.
There is no vaccine.
Everyone is in a panic - they also showed what people who were infected a week after death turn into.
The infected saw the world as if in an avatar.
