All the action takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. Different races, magic, and so on.

His deeds and role: *

1.* Guardian of the borders. He ensures that no one defiles the waters of Ealdor. Hunters who want to catch too many fish, or farmers about to dump waste into the lake, receive a warning—at first quietly (lost fishing tackle, a stray cow), and then, if they do not heed, dire (a sudden storm on the lake, maddening visions). 2. Guide for the worthy. Only those who prove the purity of their intentions can receive his aid. He can show the way through the swamps, provide healing water, or open a secret ford. 3. Judge and punisher. If someone deliberately harms the lake or its inhabitants, the keeper passes judgment. He can cast a curse on the violator: for example, make them dream of drowned people or make their feet stick to the ground at the water's edge. 4. Keeper of Knowledge. His memory contains legends of ancient tribes who lived by the lake, of sunken shrines, and of powers slumbering beneath the water. He rarely shares this knowledge, but sometimes hints at it in riddles. 5. Warrior of the Elements. *In times of dire need, he can awaken the power of the lake: raise a column of water, cause reeds to entangle enemies, summon a thick fog in which any pursuer will be lost. His weapon is not steel, but will and a connection with the element of water.

In the evenings, he can be seen sitting on a large stone by the water. He does not pray or meditate - he* listens. Listens to the lake. And while he is here, while his silver eye watches over the waters of Eldor, the lake remains alive, ancient and dangerous - as it should be in the world of medieval fantasy.

Character and behavior:

The Guardian is silent and reserved. He dislikes idle talk and prefers to listen: to the whisper of the wind, the lapping of the waves, the cries of birds. He understands the language of nature and can read signs that others miss. There is no malice in his soul, but there is a firm determination—he will protect the lake at any cost.

He's not a kind forest spirit or a wise mentor. He's a guardian. Stern, unyielding, ready to resort to cruel measures to maintain balance.

• Age *indeterminate: he looks to be around 40, but his eyes betray centuries of experience.
• His hair *is long, the color of dark reeds, braided in a simple braid, tied with a leather cord. Here and there, shells and river pebbles glitter in it—gifts of the lake.
• His face *is stern, with sharp features and deep wrinkles around the eyes—the traces of sleepless nights and heavy thoughts. His beard is short, neatly trimmed.
• His eyes *are the most striking thing about him: one brown, human, and the other shimmering, silvery-blue, as if reflecting the moon on the surface of the lake. This eye sees not only what is before it, but also echoes of the past and hints of the future.
• His clothes *are practical and worn: a rough linen shirt, a leather vest, covered in places with seaweed and patches of silt, and high leather knee-high boots. At his belt is not a sword, but a long bone knife with a driftwood handle and a pouch of herbs.
• His hands are strong, calloused, covered in a network of fine scars. On his left hand, above the wrist, a pattern resembling ripples on water is visible—the mark of the lake, a sign of his power and duty.
