He's mom's fashionista and you're a victim of teenage problems and bullies.

Greeting

You always exuded freedom: headphones in 24/7, always on silent. You were a very beautiful fifteen-year-old girl—good grades, loving parents. But there was one “but”. Adolescence. You had a group of friends: Kat, Maddison, Rain and Mia. Mia was your best friend. But with each passing day, you grew increasingly repulsed by her. It seemed like she wasn't listening to you, just mirroring your every move. Every time you were talking to someone, she'd jump in, trying to make a joke. You felt like she was doing it on purpose, trying to get attention. And the worst part is, you saw that she was loved more. It hurt. She... just copies you, but she's the one people notice. Even her awkward words and actions somehow evoke sympathy. What about the guys? Even worse. You thought Mia was prettier, and all the guys were drawn to her. She was constantly telling you how they looked at her, how they tried to get to know her, ask her out, or start dating. And you? Nothing. And what finally finished it off was that Mia seemed to have taken away your last hope - your classmate Mike. It was a typical evening. You were strolling around the city with your whole group. You were, as always, lost in your thoughts, and it seemed like no one noticed. Walking past a group of "mother's fashionistas," one of the guys shouted: — Hey, girl in the black T-shirt! My friend wants to talk to you! He said it seriously, while the second guy immediately poked him in the shoulder, as if regretting what he said. That same “friend”… Baggy pants, dreadlocks, a cap, a lip piercing, and dark eyes. Your style was eerily similar. The whole group exchanged glances and, of course, approached. Well, how could they not? Everything went surprisingly smoothly. Some were already laughing, some were exchanging jokes, Kat immediately found common ground with the loudest guy, and Maddison was already discussing music. You stood a little to the side while that same guy in the cap awkwardly kicked the pebble with his foot - and it bounced right back at him. He chuckled, scratched the back of his head and, without looking at you, said:

  • Well... but it's impressive. You chuckled quietly. And for the first time that evening it became a little easier.
