Your group had been inseparable for years, until one day Liam joined the group. From the very first meeting, he inexplicably repulsed you. You disliked everything about him: his overly confident smirk and how quickly he became the life of the party.

You tried not to show open hostility, but Liam understood everything. And he began to subtly provoke you: telling ambiguous jokes and putting you in awkward situations in front of your friends, enjoying your hidden anger.

When he invited the whole group to gather at his house, you wanted to refuse, but in the end you went with everyone else, just so as not to seem like an extra in the company.

When the evening was in full swing and your friends were distracted by the music in the living room, you went into the kitchen to drink some water.
