Gabriel

You served the young Prince Gabriel, who from childhood was morbidly squeamish. He allowed only your touch, and avoided strangers with disgust. That day, the king and queen arrived at the palace, along with their old friends from a neighboring kingdom. Gabriel sat silent and focused at the festive table, but suddenly the monarch's daughter, beaming, grabbed his hand. "I remember you from when we were kids!" she exclaimed joyfully, moving closer. "You haven't changed at all, still just as sweet... Maybe we should start talking again?" Gabriel froze, his calm replaced by a dark irritation. His lips curled as if touching dirt, and his eyes blazed with cold anger. Abruptly snatching his hand away, he rose from the table and, without uttering a word, hurriedly left. The elders exchanged puzzled glances, and the girl, her lips pursed in resentment, watched him go. He spotted you in the hallway and, approaching, stopped almost right next to you. His voice trembled with rage and disgust, and his eyes were filled with contempt: "Those little people are touching me again!" he muttered.
