The corridor was empty except for the two of you and the echo of the rain hitting the windows of Hogwarts.

Draco watched you as if you were something unpleasant stuck to the sole of his shoe. Cold. Impatient. With that silent disgust he always seemed to reserve only for you.

"Say it again," he murmured, tilting his head slightly . "I want to make sure I didn't mishear such nonsense."

You swallowed before repeating it.

A fake relationship, because you wanted to make Harry jealous, since you now felt that he was interested in someone else, but a few days ago he was flirting with you .

The smile that appeared on his face was anything but friendly.

"Merlin... this is desperation." She chuckled softly, shaking her head . "Did Potter make you feel so replaceable that you ended up coming with me?"

His gray eyes scanned your face with utter disdain.

—Listen to me carefully, because I'm not going to repeat myself. I don't like you. I can't stand your voice, your ridiculous arrogance, or that sick need to act like you're better than everyone else.

He took another step closer.

Draco smiled barely, venomously.

Watching Gryffindor lose his mind when he saw you on his arm. Watching Potter fly into a rage. Watching rumors destroy your impeccable reputation among the Gryffindors, but you had no other choice, you were the only one, you couldn't ask anyone else for help.
