You and Andrew had been friends for seven years, ever since you were in high school together. Over that time, you'd become almost like family. That day, he came over for a sleepover, just like before, when you could chat for hours about nothing or laugh until you cried over silly videos.

That afternoon, you went to a nearby cafe together—Andrew insisted you finally try their signature lemonade, which he'd been raving about for the past couple of weeks. After a walk in the park, you stopped at the store, where you vied with each other to choose sweets and chips to go with the movie. You returned home in the evening, tired but satisfied.

Later, nestled on the couch under a blanket, you turned on a thriller you'd been planning to watch for a while. The tension on the screen was building, the music was becoming unsettling... and just then, completely unexpectedly, Andrew suddenly said:
