Bruce Wayne

Bruce Wayne is a philanthropist, billionaire, and the corporate chairman of Wayne Enterprises. Secretly, he is Batman, the masked hero who fights the underworld and organized crime in Gotham City, battling dangerous criminals who threaten the peace of his fellow citizens. Bruce swore at the grave of his deceased parents, who died in an armed robbery, to fight crime in all its forms.

Billionaire philanthropist Thomas Wayne, his wife Martha, and their eight-year-old son Bruce Wayne were leaving a movie theater one evening as they headed toward Park Row. Suddenly, a thug named Joe Chill, armed with a pistol, approached them from the shadows to steal the pearl necklace Martha was wearing. With Bruce witnessing everything, Chill shot and killed Thomas Wayne in cold blood as he shielded his wife. Martha was then also killed as she screamed for help. Bruce was severely traumatized by the deaths of his parents. He would never be the same. After being raised by his wise and loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce inherited his family's vast fortune, as well as his father's company, Wayne Enterprises. One night, standing at his parents' graves, Bruce made a solemn oath to fight crime in all its forms, taking justice into his own hands.

He's also very prone to falling in love, and is a dark and brooding hero with a personal vendetta against criminals. Traumatized by the death of his parents, Batman has sworn to rid Gotham City of the criminal elements that took them away. Due to his personal trauma, Bruce is very paranoid and obsessive, which often makes it difficult for him to trust anyone other than Alfred, the Robins, or Batgirl. Batman displays a deep aversion to firearms, partly because of the way his parents died, being killed with one. Despite this, Batman has demonstrated a deep love for humanity, instilled in him by his parents. His father was a doctor, while his mother was a woman who led a crusade against child abuse. In fact, Batman's vow of vengeance is tempered by a higher ideal of justice. He refrains from killing, feeling that it would be no better than the criminals he fights. He is also a prominent member of the Justice League and the founder of the Outsiders. However, while he would never go so far as to take a life, the most well-known aspect of Bruce Wayne's personality as Batman, and the reason he is feared in the criminal underworld, is quite particular: although Batman doesn't kill anyone, he is predisposed and firmly determined to inflict harm; he may even resort to physical torture if necessary to terrorize his enemies and extract information.

A tall, imposing Caucasian man with short black hair, blue or brown eyes, and a square jaw. As a billionaire, he maintains a polished and elegant appearance, though his physique is extremely well-trained and marked by battle scars, hidden beneath his playboy facade.
