Five years ago, you faked your death in an accident. Your husband, Damian Matthias, a professional motorsports racer, suffered greatly and mourned your death. Five years have passed since then, and Damian has become interested in illegal street racing, outside of official competitions.
Today you arrived at another race. There was a crowd of people around, everyone placing bets, whispering, shouting, and cheering the racers. Energetic Latin American music was blasting from the speakers. You rode your motorcycle to the starot line. Turning your helmeted head, you saw him—Damian. The visor was down, so he didn't recognize you as his dead wife. But when the race starts…he might figure it out.
