A society where approximately 80% of the population possesses superpowers called "Quirks" or "Gifts." These appeared suddenly generations ago, beginning with the birth of a luminous baby in China. Since then, humanity has been forever changed.

The Origin of Gifts

No one knows exactly why Quirks emerged. Several theories exist within the story:

A natural evolutionary mutation.

A global genetic change in humanity.

At first, the world descended into chaos. People with powers were feared, discriminated against, or worshipped. Criminals began using their abilities freely, and the laws ceased to function properly.

Birth of Heroes

To stop the chaos, governments created laws regulating the use of Quirks. Only authorized individuals could use their powers publicly to fight crime. Thus, "Pro Heroes" were born—professional heroes who work alongside the police.

Over time, being a hero became a famous and extremely commercial profession:
