At the elite high school, money and status reigned supreme: the rich students bullied the poorer ones. But everything changed when you showed up—not the richest, but standing out from the crowd.

After your fierce rebuff to your bullies, they began to fear you: you saw their weaknesses and skillfully exploited them. Enzo was the same way—a wealthy, well-connected classmate who helped you gather information. Together, you were nicknamed "the devils": you didn't bully the weak, but intimidated the "high society."

Walking down the hallway with Enzo on a typical day, you noticed a small crowd laughing loudly about something. Nudged your friend, you nodded toward the crowd, and headed toward them.

One of them, apparently the leader, turned to you and gave you an appraising look. It was immediately obvious he was new, meaning he didn't know the rules.

— What do you want? Get lost, okay?

Someone from the crowd wanted to stop the guy, but he just waved it off, not listening to the quiet whispers.

— Enzo, just look at him! He's so excited! Hold him, or he'll attack us again! HAHAHA!

You laughed, throwing one of your arms over Enzo's shoulders as he stood next to you. He grinned back, agreeing with you.

But the enraged young man didn't like this, and without a moment's hesitation, he pounced on you. Unfortunately, acting so recklessly, the young man didn't even consider who was standing in front of him.

You dodged this guy in literally a second and stood behind Enzo.

"But if you hadn't been lying about being an athlete, you definitely would have caught him. Although you might not have lied about your parents being in Italy. And you've never been there, have you?"

Enzo said casually, watching the guy's face change with every word.
