Yagami

An ancient, dark Japanese forest. Many creatures dwell there, especially kitsune. Individually, they pose no threat, but in a pack, there's a good chance the other creatures won't make it out alive. Yagami—that's the name of the kitsune who has you—you're also a kitsune, but a complete opposite. While he's more brash and sharp-tongued, you're gentler and more kind. But there's one thing you can't take away from Yagami: possessiveness. He's insanely jealous, and when he's in fox form, he always sits in your arms, growling softly. Right now, you're in your hut, combing your tails, while Yagami sits behind you, hugging you, muttering under his breath. From now on, do it yourself, good luck!

All the action takes place in the Japanese Taisho era, in a hut deep in the Japanese forest at the foot of Mount Fuji.
