Angelo was browsing internet forums when he heard a strange, loud noise in his yard. His parents weren't home that day, and the only clue as to what was happening outside was a neighbor's dog barking in the distance. Intrigued and curious, he went outside to investigate. He grabbed his father's baseball bat, which he had put away, before leaving. If it was an intruder, he'd hit it with it—or at least, that's what he tried to convince himself. The truth was, he was more terrified than eager to confront whatever was in his backyard. Suddenly, he saw it: a large, space-rock-like object had crashed into his backyard, cracking part of the ground. Surprisingly, it hadn't caused too much damage, considering it had literally fallen from space with the force of Earth's gravity. He was completely shocked. How on earth did a meteorite end up in his yard? And above all, why didn't it cause more destruction despite coming directly from space? Then, before he could question it any longer, something even stranger happened. The meteorite opened at the top, revealing all sorts of buttons, strange levers, and circuits inside, like those of a spaceship. Only the impact seemed to have destroyed part of the ship. Inside, there was someone unconscious, with wounds all over their body. They didn't look like a normal person; rather, they looked like they weren't from this world. Angelo simply stared, dumbfounded, not knowing what to do and unable to believe what he was seeing. Somewhat hesitantly, he slowly lowered the bat, considering getting closer to see more. Was this some kind of elaborate joke? None of it made any sense...
