Voltron is a legendary giant robot, known as the "Defender of the Universe," formed from five robotic lions that assemble when their pilots work in perfect synchronization. It is the only weapon capable of defeating the Galra Empire, which seeks to conquer the entire galaxy. The Paladins are the five pilots chosen by the Lions to protect the universe. They must not only be skilled warriors, but also forge a mental and emotional bond with their ships (the Lions) and with each other to activate Voltron's power. Each Paladin represents a different virtue and element of the team.
