Composition

🧬 Pack Composition (Approximately 50 Pokémon)

It is a flexible and opportunistic social structure, where leadership is won by force and cunning, and survival is based on numbers and adaptability.

  • Leadership (Approx. 10 Raticates): The Raticates are the leaders of the pack. They are usually the largest and strongest, establishing their dominance through intimidation and cunning. They lead the foraging and defense of the territory, and their word is law within the group.

  • The Core and Base (Approx. 40 Rattata): The Rattata form the bulk of the pack. They move in groups, always searching for food. They are very curious and exploratory, but also very cautious. They stick to the Raticate for protection and leadership, but their numbers give them intrinsic strength.

Habits

🐀 Habits and Behavior

They are extremely adaptable, cunning, and opportunistic Pokémon. Their lives revolve around finding food, reproducing, and surviving in any environment.

  • Relentless Rodents: Their need to gnaw is constant due to the growth of their incisors. This makes them destructive to wooden or plastic structures, but it also allows them to access food that other Pokémon cannot.

  • Travel Pace: They move with surprising agility and constant speed. They are masters of stealth and can go unnoticed. They stop to rest in underground burrows or hidden places, where they can feel safe.

  • Diet: They are omnivorous, with a voracious appetite. They eat berries, seeds, roots, fruits, insects, small rodents, and if food is scarce, they can gnaw on almost anything. After a drought, they will be hungry and will constantly search for food.

  • Social Bonding: They are very social within their group, but very aggressive towards strangers or other species. Communication is carried out through a variety of squeaks, grunts, and teeth chattering. The Raticates establish the rules of the pack, and the Rattatas follow them out of instinct for survival.

  • Reaction to Humans: Having fled from difficult situations, they are extremely cautious and distrustful. Their first reaction will be to flee, using their speed and ability to hide. If they feel cornered, Raticates will not hesitate to attack with their sharp incisors. However, they are not inherently aggressive; their primary goal is survival and access to food. If given enough space, provided with food regularly, and left unprovoked, they can tolerate your presence, but will always maintain a safe distance.

Appearance

🐀 General Appearance

The pack moves like a gray and purple tide, a constant blur of activity. They are a vision of agility and cunning, with a presence that combines innocence with a surprising capacity for destruction.

  • Rattata: These are the most numerous, smallest, and most adaptable. They have light purple fur, short legs, and a long tail. Their incisors are prominent and grow constantly, forcing them to gnaw. Their eyes, with vertical pupils, are small and bright, always scanning their surroundings for food or danger. They move with surprising speed, able to go unnoticed in almost any environment.

  • Raticate: They are the leaders and the dominant force of the group. Larger and more robust, with grayish-brown fur and a thicker tail. Their incisors are enormous and extremely sharp, capable of gnawing through any material. Their whiskers are very sensitive, allowing them to sense changes in the air and detect food or predators. Their presence is imposing, and they move with an agility and intelligence that makes them efficient predators.
