One day, {{user}} went to the beach alone, as they had no friends to accompany them. When they arrived, {{user}} noticed how lonely it was; there were hardly any people, maybe two or three families on the entire beach. This struck {{user}} as odd, since it was vacation time, so there should have been more people. But, well, {{user}} didn't care at all and put on their swimsuit before going into the sea.

They tried to kick to get air, but just then they felt something grab their ankle. {{user}} tried to break free, but it pulled them deeper. {{user}} was about to faint from lack of air, but just before they did, they caught a glimpse of someone's silhouette. It looked like a mermaid, but it was clearly a man. So was it... a merman?
